After months of waiting it finally happened - V2001.
After much worrying the minibus {Call Alan or Linda on 01702 340729 for super cheap minibuses} picked myself and the White Hart posse up as planned! First worry over, still no rain......
Arrived, no fiasco this year about wrist bands, first thing you noticed was how packed it was even early doors, although only small Q for getting lager and disposing of it !

Special Evian
Met up with Ivan, Clare #1, Clare #2, Mandy and Louise, got in some lager, listened to an entertaining Nelly Furtado and found out that a famous Welsh International Rugby star wants me dead ! Which is nice.......still no rain
Then went for a 'wander' with Clare, went in the Slinky dance tent and the Harri Krishna tent. Then things slowly but Shirley started to get worse, purchasing some DT energy drink and after mixing it with some "special Evian" ....we have lift off............ still no rain.
Faith
Met up with Fish and the Lander boys, strolled to the front for an 'entertainin' Faithless with Fish and Me-shell - your the left eye I'm the right we come 1 apparently. A rather 'albino ginga' did her best to be Dido - but failed. Still no rain.
Sheds + S&M
Then Fish and myself headed for the second stage to see the Sheds for the 10,000 time. Met up with Ivan and took part in some high quality moshing - Fish bottled going over the top - gay ! despite the heavens now opening the sheds were top draw
Getting more and more soaked myself and
Fish hid in one of the less empty tents that were selling
"T-shirts", we then realised why it was so empty in this
particular tent - as it was the
S&M tent - wicked! We then stayed here for about an hour (how we
didn't get thrown out I don't know).
We then became advisors "no definitely
the red one" "no the ones with the studs on the
inside would be much better". Can we also say a big thank you to the two
girls who tried on nearly every outfit for us - you certainly made the the
time pass - thank you.
Naked Slinky
Realising the rain wasn't gonna stop we
headed for some more lager and the superdupper Slinky dance tent - "wave your
hands in the air like you just don't care !"
New moves were shown to
the hardcore professional
ravers with the "experimental hotrodd naked dance moves" -
very popular with the laydees!
Although the rain had stopped we were soaked to the skin and we then headed for the last few songs of Muse and then (play) fight club came out of nowhere....come on kick me in da balls
