x-ray diffraction

tell me about x-ray diffraction

X-ray diffraction is a method for the identification and the quantification (sometimes!) of crystalline materials. The material to be analysed is usually finely crushed, and presented for analysis as a pellet of randomly oriented powder. Incident x-rays are directed onto the pellet and the intensities of the diffracted x-rays are recorded over an appropriate angular range.

Individual crystalline phases have characteristic diffraction 'fingerprints' allowing their presence to be determined by examination of a diffractogram (a plot of x-ray intensity versus diffraction angle).

what domains are for sale?

Here at hot-cakes, we have just two xrd related domain names for sale, but they are both as good as they come, namely:

x-ray-diffraction.com£25,000
x-ray-diffraction.co.uk£4,000

why buy one of these domains?

X-ray diffraction is widely used for the identification of crystalline phases in a variety of sample matrices and x-ray diffraction equipment may be found in laboratories worldwide.

If you manufacture xrd systems, parts, or accessories, or sell services to xrd users, these domains would provide you with the most memorable locations on the internet from which to promote your business. The domains might be especially useful when combined with our x-ray fluoresence domains (see our xrf page). With this in mind, we would be prepared to offer a significant discount to clients purchasing a matching set of xrf and xrd names.

Serious potential purchasers might wish to have our domains independently valued. Valuation services may be obtained from a variety of sites, of which GreatDomains is amongst the most well known.

Just about the best internet resource on all matters related to x-ray analysis is Pavel Petrashin's Silicon Valley X-Ray Site.
