Hi - Do you know if any of your ancestors were in the business of manufacturing items of ironmongery. I have a toasting fork, age unsure probably 19th century but could be older or early 20th century that has a brass plate inset into the handle that reads "W. HOWITT", or perhaps it was custom made for someone of that name. Please email me if you have any info.
