My grandmother left copious notes (mostly decipherable) regarding the lineage as she would call it, and the photos she left me of The Grange that John Howitt built in Guelph are pretty cool. The building is gone- I did a google search of the Guelph area and John Howitt and got way cool info -about him, the House, the cattle industry he was heavily a part of, etc. Have you found much?
