Robert Smith Howitt was my great grandfather. My grandfather was Hugh Thomas Howitt and my mothe was Joan Mary Howitt. Robert Smith Howitt had a son also Robert Howitt, born about 1869. If there are any relations out there I would be very pleased to hear from you
