Other Branches of the Howitt Family in Scotland.

While researching my branch of the Howitt family I gathered a number of other record of possible family members who were living in the same locations as my own family. This information has been greatly added to by other researchers of the Howitt family and the combined results are detailed in the following charts.

• Howitt Family from Alvah, Banffshire (Family Chart)  The earlist record of this family is at Rothiemay in Banffshire then later in the Parish of Alvah. At about 1900 the family was located mainley in Aberdeen and later dispersed to Canada, USA and New Zealand.
• Another Aberdeen Howitt Family (St. Nicholas)(Family Chart) 
• Howitt Family from Calton, Glasgow(Family Chart)  For several generations this family were weavers in the Calton district of Glasgow then later worked in the Clydeside shipyards.
