We all put up lots of decorations for Christmas – but with this tree you can decorate your home all year round! You need:

A large dry twig with plenty of ‘branches’ – that will be your ‘tree.’

Old newspaper

Plastic plant pot

A few pebbles

Wrapping paper to cover the pot

Tissue paper – green and pink. If you have no tissue paper, actual tissues or toilet roll will do fine.

Paper or card to make decorations.

Thread to hang decorations

Darning needle

Sticky tape

What to do:

Put the pebbles in the bottom of the pot for weight.

Hold the twig in the middle of the pot, and push crumpled newspaper down the sides to hold the twig firmly in place.

Cover the pot with wrapping paper, and tape it securely.
