Finca Montana The Accommodation |

|
Built around 5 years ago, in traditional style Finca, Montana is typical of many mountain houses. It has a kitchen/living room, 2 twin bedrooms (with 2 further beds possible in the living room) and a toilet/shower. However, there is no mains water or electricity in the area, so we use our own spring, solar power for lights and gas for cooking. The house is set in it's own grounds (3 acres of almonds, chestnuts, walnuts, cherries and a grape vine), has a large barbecue area and south facing patio, where you can watch the sun rise and set over the mountains while you plan the day's activities. Access is not for the fainthearted! It takes around 40 minutes up a forest track, however is well worth the effort, and once there, you can forget about about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Only a few minutes walk from the GR7, Spain's equivalent of the Penine Way, and no less than 5 rock climbing venue's within a short drive; at 1,300 metres, you are almost half way up the nearest 3,000m peak of the Sierra Nevada mountains!
