Michael Hunt started
climbing in 1973 and has climbed extensively throughout Europe and
in the U.K. where he has made over 30 new routes. He has been an active
caver and group leader since 1980. Although originally trained as
a surveyor, Mike is a qualified social worker and has worked as an
outdoor pursuits instructor. He holds a Mountain Leader Award and
an S.P.A. (for Rockclimbing). He has worked with people with a range
of disabilities and has a particular expertise in supporting adults
with learning disabilities. Mike is currently a Vice President of
The British Mountaineering Council and is Chair of the BMC Peak Area
Committee.
A qualified teacher
and social worker, Jane Livingstone has been an outdoor enthusiast
for over 25 years. She has walked and climbed throughout Europe and
the UK and holds an S.P.A for Rockclimbing.
Mike Pinder is a
qualified teacher and also holds qualifications for leading Rockclimbing,
mountain walking, canoeing and sailing. He has a wealth of experience
as an outdoor instructor working with both young people and adults.
He has walked and climbed in both Europe and North America.
We are also advised
and supported by Tom Humphries a local GP. Tom is an active mountaineer,
climbing extensively throughout Britain and Europe. He has also visited
America, New Zealand and the Himalayas. He holds S.P.A. and mountain
leader qualifications and has a particular interest in using the outdoors
to promote health.
