HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION:
The Assumption of Our Lady, Friday 15th August. Vigil Mass in St. Patrick's, St. Brigid's & St. Colmcille's at 7.30pm. Friday Masses in St. Patrick's at 8am, 10am & 7,30pm, St. Brigid's at 10am, St. Colmcille's at 9am & 11am and St. Malachy's at 7.30pm

BELARUSSIAN CHERNOBYL CHILDRENS CHARITY:
A Collection in aid of the Charity will be taken up outside all the Churches in the Parish this weekend. Money raised will go towards bringing children between the ages of 7 and 12 years to South Down for three weeks respite and medical care.

DIOCESAN CARE HOMES:
The Annual Collection for the Diocesan Care Home will be taken up next weekend. There are two home for the elderly & infirm and one for adults with learning difficulties. Please Give Generously.

DEVOTIONS:
PLEASE NOTE: There are NO Devotions during July and August.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
Every Saturday in St. Patrick's Church from 12 noon to 1pm.

KILLOUGH ROAD CEMETERY:
There are areas at the Cemetery for the disposal of rubbish: the dump, the skip and behind the screen in the left hand corner of the Cemetery. Please place rubbish in one of these areas. DO NOT DUMP RUBBISH AT THE GATES OR IN ANY OTHER UNAUTHORISED AREA OF THE CEMETERY.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL:
SUMMER PARTY for Senior Citizens will be held on Wednesday 13th August in Abbey Lodge Hotel, Downpatrick. Meal at 6pm. Transport available if required. Anyone who has not got a ticket and would like to go, please phone 44614194 leaving name and address.

AFTERSCHOOL CHILDCARE CLUB:

MARIE CURIE SHOP:
Urgently require bric-a-brac, household items & books for the shop in Market Street, Downpatrick. All donations are gratefully received. Please call in to the shop in Market Street or Telephone Joan at 44839424. Volunteers are always required.

ST. MARY'S HIGH SCHOOL:
GCSE STUDENTS - Enrolment for post 16 courses 2003 - 2004. Staff will be available on Friday 22nd August from 10am - 12.30pm to provide information on the following Post 16 Courses on offer this academic year: AS Levels - Art & Design, Geography, Media Studies. AVCE - ICT, Business Studies. GNVQ - Intermediate Business, Intermediate Health & Social Care. A welcome is also extended to students from other schools/colleges who amy wish to attend, (admission criteria will apply). School Reopens as follows: Years 13 & 14 on Friday 29th August, Years 8 & 11 on Monday 1st September, Whole School on Tuesday 2nd September.

O'CONNOR SCHOOL OF IRISH DANCING: Irish Dancing Classes resume in the Youth Centre on Thursday 4th September at 3pm. Beginners and advanced dancers are welcome to attend.
BALLET STEPS SCHOOL OF BALLET:
Ballet Classes begin on Saturday 6th September and will take place every Saturday from 9.30am - 4.30pm. New Members are welcome to enrol, age three and half years and upwards.
