The song that really blew my mind of Rhythm nation was "Escapade" and "Come back to me". Escapade came out a couple weeks before my birthday and so I had the privilege of going out and buying the single for my birthday. The song to me re[represents the carefree happiness of my that time of my life and it is a very easy to song to take me back to that feeling. It is also amazing tom et that video contains the Aids Puppet used in the San Francisco Pride march, which something that means a lot to me. Come back to me was the first slow song that I actually took and interest in. It is one the the videos of that can actually remember from that time. It is till makes me breathe a big AHHHH and want to give Janet a big hug and tell that there's plenty more fish in the sea where that came form and that she should get out and enjoy herself in Paris.

After rhythm nation I went back bit to Control the album had a lot meaning to me as I discovered just at the time that I wanting to break away from my parents. Also I came out at this time in my life and so therefore Control or freedom of my own life was a very important. Nasty is also important the amount of time that I have wanted to walk up to someone and in a really queeny spout shout out "my name Iain, Mr. Gowers if your nasty" is very often, I am just too shy to do it!!!!

Then and this time I was fully ready for this album, with a little bit of money behind my out That 's the way love goes. I almost passed out when I heard that one. I order my sister to take me down to the shop to buy the album and single. Whilst not being complete made fan of all the tracks their I love the album though. The next song was "IF..." few that video and that the song. I had just discovered a new found sexuality and a believe that I could be sexy and what with Janet new sexy image. I stomped down the market brought choker and a black waist coat and managed to pull the male version of that outfit and it worked!!! My other favorite song from that album was you want this, again and Because of love. Also "this time" is amazing because it actually is the first bit of opera music that I like. The Janet album is one of my most favourite albums

I sort of Runway away from my parents i.e. demanded to get at Uni as soon as possible and I celebrated the moment they left playing by playing this. Also she placed the aid ribbon on the album something that means a lot to me.

Janets velvet rope album was brilliant. I loved her AIDS song "together again" and also I was totally shocked when she recorded her song about Homophobia. The album included a brilliant cover of Rod Stewarts "Tonight the night" and also the beautifull balad which is "everytime".

I also got to see Janet in concert for the very first time!!!!!!! which is brilliant!!!!! and again I own this concert on DVD!!!!

Finally Diamonds is the most campest song I know of Janet's. and I love it!!!!!

Janet, I have so much respect for her. She is the most successful African American woman and is the first person that I name when people ask for a positive black role model in my life. I also have enough respect for the woman as she is Brilliant role model for the black people.
