So much to write!!!!

1988 I was 12 and a very big fan of neighbours. One day my sister called me in to watch Top of the Pops because "the girl from neighbors was on" and it all started from there. I rushed out and brought "I should be so lucky". I annoyed Coulsdon Woolworth's record shop till they got a copy of "the locomotion" and "Got to be certain". I never stopped being a fan. Although things where difficult I closeted my craze for Kylie at the end of her second album, because everyone at school said she was sad and not worth listening too. Up to that point my life was happy, but then I did not have a very happy teenage years and it wasn't until 1993 when I actually came out of the closet and started to enjoy my life. Here I discovered a world where Kylie was accepted and here the much being played in clubs. Here I adopted and found some of my all time favorite songs every like "better the devil you know" and "Shocked" ,"celebrate" and "what do I have to do". The joy now of collecting stuff that either reminds me of my early teenager years or the music that took me from me being a shy teenager to an adult and when I discovered the CD single of "Better the devil you know" in Brighton Record fair. I am sure you could hear my shout of Joy back in my home town. When Kylie released "Kylie" in 1994. I had the privilege of hearing it two weeks before the release date. Rather Bizarrely the album that is full of songs that are full of emotions that pretty much considered again with my life. I had previously heard my favorite track "Confide in me" while I was in the bath and almost drowned in the excitement. On arriving to Uni the whole thing was something amazing to me. I found huge network of friends and regularly pass my spare time talking, joking and dancing about Kylie. In 1995, my first year at uni, I moved in with Nick cave fan, who came running up to me demanded me that I should go down and buy the single and that was "Where the wild roses grow".

Kylie is the only reason why I went from being just plain and boring Iain into the little disco bunny club monster that I am, it is her love of music that inspired my personal image. I find her image is one of complete sexual freedom. A sexuality that is not forced and is completely naturally and seductive manner of which I am sure she is unaware that she has, through the fact that she seems so perfectly innocent. her image is that which is constantly changing, something of which I am very jealous of and would love too be able to copy. Her face is unreal and almost doll like something of which to me, makes me very jealous. Her live performances are always amazing and she is always surrounded by dancers that looked like she has nicked from the crowd at the Astoria.

In September 1997 my dream came true when I was giving the opportunity to meet kylie when she performed for her MTV "some kind of kylie". The pictures and autographs I have area all here.

In 1997 she released her first single from her new ALbum Impossible princess. Whilst the new album was totally credible, it never really hit me as overall success, some tracks where good and yet others were okay. Howe ever it did allow Kylie to tour again and that resulted in the "Live and Intimate tour" which I have to say was the best tour I have seen today.

In October of 1999, she released a book which is a collection of all her photographs, the book was promoted with a signing. I had three books to be signed and for my friends kelly and ross reason I became so nervous this time, that I couldn't say anything.

One if my favorite Kylie album's is Light years which was released in september 2000. It featured the amazing Spinning around which has been a summer hit and "on a night like this" which I had fallen in love whilst in Ibiza of that year. It was a return to the kylie that I grew up with and in many ways meant that it was a chance for me to act 15 again. The album has some amazing camp disco tracks, like " Light years","Disco down" and of course "Your disco needs you"

In march of 2001, Kylie toured and had two dates in Brighton, YIPEE!!! She performed a new Cathy Dennis written song was sung by Kylie Minogue called "Can't get you out of my head" on her 'on a night like this tour' having also previously written and sung backing vocals on "Loves on every corner" for Dannii Minogue). The song has been selected to be Kylie's first single release of her album "Fever". The tour was released on DVD and video called "Kylie, live in sydney". The single is Kylie's largest selling single to date, being number 1 for three weeks in UK and Australia. The album "fever" has further two more cathy penned tracks "Come In To My World", "Dancefloor" and "Come In To My World" cathy sings backing vocals.
