As well as offering considerable expertise in construction and associated services, Edward MacKay Ltd has developed a training facility at it's new premises in Brora, Sutherland. The facility offers a spacious classroom with audio-visual aids and an excellent outdoor and indoor areas for the practice of construction skills and techniques. The company provides SVQ assessment and training, not just for it's own staff, but for other workers in the construction industry from other construction companies or even self employed Builders, plumbers, joiners etc. |

Edward MacKay Ltd is an active member of the North Highland Construction Training Group which, along with the Highland Construction Training Group , is overseen by the CITB and offers training in construction skills to around 120 Highland based companies. the training provided by Edward MacKay Ltd is geared to the needs of businesses in the Highland area. The premises and facilities are also available to other training providers. |

Attainment of the New Roads and Streetworks accredited qualification is an essential requirement for any company undertaking contracting work. Continuous training has allowed Edward MacKay Ltd to remain competitive and secure contracts on a regular basis. |
