Was this helped with the posters and mailing to members to remind them of the meeting, or was the subject strong enough on its own to encourage folk to come along. WEB COURSE held at Motherwell College was attended by a few members. C.S.A. AGM. Alan wished to go but didn't make it due to a breakdown in communication, Ed and Malcolm attended, and the feeling was that it was really of no benefit to us. It was very business orientated. FORTHCOMING EVENTS SELKIRK/MELROSE area suggested for an outing in June. Ian will check that the venues looked at will be open on the days that we plan to visit. C.I.A. Conf on 21-23 September. Ed, Ian and Alan plan to go. Will L.A.D.A.S help with the cost for this? ORKNEY/DURHAM were both suggested for a trip in the autumn. Alan will investigate costs for Orkney. Venue can be decided- at a future meeting SCOTTISH ARCHAEOLOGY MONTH in September We will have to decide if we want to get involved with this and if so plan what we want to do. SCOTTISH ARCHAEOLOGY SUMMER SCHOOL If anyone is interested in this they will have to book a place before the end of March. ONGOING ARCHAEOLOGY CONFERENCE Ian and Jack might consider this.
