We will arrange a visit to Kittochside sometime next year, possibly when they are running a special event. Ann will keep an eye on their web site for anything that would be of interest to the membership Membership fees paid so far amount to £300.00 Scott will give Ian and Ann a list of members and their addresses when they are available Everyone enjoyed the trip to Orkney. Thanks to Alan for his planning and for driving the 892 miles. We were impressed at the number of sites that were visited in such a short time. The autumn sale in the Tolbooth will take place on 03.11.01. Ed will pick the key up and pass it on to Scott. We will meet at the Tolbooth at 7pm Ian has bought Tombola prizes. Terri to get cash to make goods for Cake and Candy stall Ann will try to get a poster into the Tolbooth on Sat. if it is open. Next lecture - E Peltenburg will be on 12.11.01 in Lanark Library. G. Warren will talk on Prehistory in South Scotland on 14.01.02. Alan will remind him by letter one month in advance. A carousel type projector is required for this talk. The newsletter will be ready for next lecture. We will send out a flier re lecture. Members Night. Planned talks for this are - David - Orkney, Ian- Jersey, Scott- Crete, Ann- Islay Christmas Meal in the Clydesdale Inn on 20.12.01. We hope to have this settled at the lecture on 12.11.01. We need to order the food in advance, so will require to know what folk want to eat. New year outing, possibly to Manor valley.
