Quorum as a result of the AGM decision the quorum for scheduled meetings will be dropped from 5 to 3 Ordinary members to be invited along to committee meetings. Plea for members to go into the next newsletter. Moira Carmichael might join the committee. It was recorded that the Lanark Museum Trust would own the books belonging to the Ian Morrison Collection. SAM Event - Attendance very poor. Better co-ordination with other organisations required. Walk to take place next year. Future Events Preparations for the lecture on October 14th discussed 2nd November - Tolbooth Sale - Ed to organize stuff for Saturday and collect key from Ian Veitch 27th October - visit to be made to Tam's dig as part of the Madd event. Vindolanda trip to be postponed till spring. Fieldwalking Ed to organize fieldwalking trip to Cairngryffe - plan discussed with Dick Scruton.
