Lecture in Lanark Library 14.01.01. Graeme Warren, All present agreed that it was a fine lecture.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS
04.02	Joint D. A. lecture in ALVO, Hope Street. Ian wilt not be there.
11.02	Lecture in Biggar. Fraser Hunter on Birnie near Elgin.
13.04	Churches Visit. Members to be notified of change of date. Ed will give talk at Castle Campbell, Scott will tell us a story about the Covenanters.
18.05	CIA. Conference at New Lanark.

SUMMER OUTINGS
Thoughts on this outing include, Stirling/Bannockburn. Perhaps invite Lawrence Keppie along.
Western Isles.
Ireland
All to be considered at future meeting, also mode of transport to be used.

Discussion followed with regard to C.I.A. Conference.

The cost for the conference will be £17.00 if booked in advance, on £20.00 on the day.
Ed will be the contact.
The event to be advertised in as many publications as possible.
Will we have a stall for second-hand books?
Exhibition space and posters from other societies are to be considered too.
Ian will produce posters for this event.

IAN MORRISON'S LIBRARY
Alan and Ed have been clearing space. Ed is concerned re many folks having keys, and what might happen to the collection. We are unsure when we will be able to move books to New Lanark. We need to acquire some pallets and monitor for dampness first.
