Fiona Watson's lecture on Bannockburn had been well received and her impressive command of the subject was commented on. 2. May 18 - the C.I.A Conference had been considered a great success and the turnout had been good. Thought there had been too many speakers, concern about the C.I.A agenda. 3. Spring sale cancelled - Scott to dispatch cheque for £20 to Ian Veitch. Forthcomin~ events 1. Stirling visit on June 22nd to Ardoch, Stirling Castle and Bannockburn. 2. Most of committee keen on trip up to Aberdeenshire on 718th September 3. The use of the Conference room for 2-3 p.m on Saturday September 14th for the SAM event. Ed confirmed availablity Roles - etc 1. Fieldwalking to start again when appropriate areas available. 2. Computer equipment still o.k 3. David to experiment with photos on scanner Financial Statement 1. £ 1400 after deduction of expenses and inclusion of grant of £300. Ian Morrison's Book Collection Ed to collect more books from Ian. Action Plan a. Get hold of dehumidifier b. Think about grant c. Decided to get stacking book containers d. Scott to go with Ed to Ian's to assess the logistics. Lectures 1. Scott reported that the grant for the C.I.A Conference had been obtained. Matters arising 1. Lottery grant applied for - £5000 2. Ed mentioned CIA weekend in Forest of Dean on August 31st 3. Scott to pay £10 to Museum Forum 4. Charlie to identify Amphora from Castledykes 5. Ed to look at 0' Haras 6. Ed reported he had seen some carvedstonework from Carstairs at Lampits Farm.
