On 7-8th September 2002 members of the Society toured Aberdeenshire and Morayshire. We visited the Poctish stones at Meigle before spending the afternoon at the Scottish Archaeology Month Event at Archaeolink. After staying outside Elgin during a night of rain and flooding, the following day we visited Pluscarden Abbey, Ballindalloch Castle and Ruthven barracks before returning home.
