Lanark Writers' Circle meets each Monday at 7p.m.in St. Nicholas Church Hall, Castlegate, Lanark. Meetings last two hours and anyone interested in producing written work is welcome. It costs £1.00 per evening and there is a cup of tea about 8p.m.

At the meetings an opportunity is offered to receive criticism and to discuss other members written pieces. We publish anthologies of our work from time to time and have produced a tape. The Writer-in-Residence at Brownsbank comes to the meetings and offers advice and criticism. In conjunction with him and sometimes for our own edification we have guest speakers from the world of writing and publishing.
