Grove Farm is located in a quaint rural setting just outside Bristol, five minutes from Bristol International Airport, and not far from Chew Valley Lake. The location is ideal for access to the airport but is also perfect for leisurely sightseeing. Due to the proximity to the A38 the Mendips as well as Cheddar Gorge and caves are easily accessible, while just over Dundry Hill is the picturesque Chew Valley, famous for its trout fishing.
The Farmhouse was built around 1653 and has gradually been adapted but retains much of its rustic character. The grounds feature spectacular views over Bristol, and on in to Wales. By night the outlook can become a real spectacle as you can clearly see the illuminated Clifton Suspension Bridge towering over the city, and the two Severn crossings in the distance. Perhaps the highlight of the year is the weekend of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, which takes place several miles away but offers the most spectacular vista as the balloons takeoff (and if, you are lucky, they may even land in the garden!).
Parking and transfers for Bristol International Airport are available at any time. Due to the proximity (the Airport is only five minutes drive away) this service is very convenient. Ground floor accommodation is available (although prior warning is advisable). Continental breakfast is served before 7.30 after this a full Farm House Breakfast is available.
Additionally we also provide catering for most occasions. Further information can be found in the "catering" section.
