A well-researched site. Very good! I see you're descended from GEORGE, well I'm descended from his brother JAMES RIVETT (who married Mary Bettles. Hence all the antecedants of Joseph Rivett and Elizabeth Green are also mine and are of interest to me. I don't think I could do better. You've got some of it back to late 17th century. Well done!

I have just recently found references to the Rivett name in my family tree. The reference was to a household in Farnworth, Lancashire in the 1881/91 and 1901 UK Census. John Rivett (b 1811), Fanny Rivett (wife b.1831), Mary Jane Birchall (possibly Rivett dau b. 1859), Susannah Rivett (dau b 1857), and John Willie Rivett (b.1888). I believe these Rivett's are from either Norfolk or Lenton..in Lincolnshire...Anyone familiar with these Rivetts? Thanks Mike

Interesting to find your site. Samuel Lea and Mary Anne COX are my GG Granparents through their son Henry (brother of your Thomas). Here are some missing dates for you tree if you want them: Samuel married Mary Anne COX at Cransley in 1853 and died 4/2/1895 and is buried in Cransley. Grave is still in very good condition.

Fascinating and interesting site. I'm searching for Nora Rivett as she was the birth mother of my late husband (b.1942)His birth father was a Mr.Maddison of Wellingborough and Norah worked at a washhouse in Wellingborough. So far I've had no luck finding out about her but I'll keep trying. I know she was from Wollaston.
