Hi All,
I moved up to the midlands about a year ago from Middlesex. I used to ride with some guys from around those parts...our club is www.monojuice.com , most of our rideouts have been, Le-Man and Assen last year, since moving I have been to Wales a few times and the surrounding area's - however none of me mates can be arsed to ride up this way......nause, so anyone interested in meeting up soon......perhaps we could meet at Stratford and organise a trip to wales......

Hi there Passed my test in May '02. Bought a new R6 in June, and love it. Ran it in, and since changed the screen for a bubble, the can to a titanium micron race can, and it sounds excellent. and goes way faster than I can. I'm a bit slow on it still, need to get out more and get some experience, but fantastic bike and learning more everytime I go out. I live in Solihull, and would like to contact anyone who has any runs out on sunday's, etc as It would probably help me to try and keep up with someone else ! May give Stratford a look ? cheers Paul

Good to here that you like the R6.
I moved about 3 months ago to North Wales so miss Stratford and others....
Solihull is good for Bikers....try Stratford on Weekends, and get talking to some bikers,
they are all local so are eager to pass on stories and routes...
Also try Bassets Pole on Tuesdays and the Waterman on Wed nights. the Falcon
has now stopped, buy I believe that there is a new meet around your way which is awesome....
Get talking to the lads in Stratford...remember me to em....

New bike meet @ the Town Mills every Sunday. LEGENDS is a rock night held every Sunday from 7pm, hosted by rock DJ Dave Scott, playing nothing but classic & Contempory rock anthems.
Food is available til 9.pm There is loads of parking and the beer garden is situated right next to the river Anton. Motorcyclists are made most welcome.
This weekly event is still in its infancy but seems to be getting a bit of a reputation with motorcyclists from all around the South.

I've just bought a mint 2000 blue R6. I will hopefully pick it up in about two weeks. I say hopefully because maybe then I'll be able to sleep at night instead of thinking about riding it ! I am sorting out insurance at the moment and I am looking for a decent quote. Anybody had a good deal TPF&T ? I always knew it wouldn't be cheap but I've tried the usual suspects, Bennetts, Carole Nash etc and bl@*dy hell, they know how to charge! Anyway, even if I end up being forced onto the streets to pay the premium I will, cos it'll be worth it to know I'll be riding a fantastic bike, capable of humbling ANY so-called "supercar" on the road.

Matt, after reading the MCN 600 shootout the new CBR600 RR came top followed by the Kawasaki then the Yamaha. I aint got the stats to hand but to be honest unless your the next Barry Sheene it doesnt make any odds. I had a little go on the new kwack and found the shape of the tank (due to the length of my legs, im 5ft 10")crushed my package so i will be forgiven for not rushing out and buying one. My mate has a new GSXR600 and that feels alot different to my R6, the tank feels wider and i have to stretch more to sit upright. Try to ride each one and buy the that suits you best as the performance is that close the only influence should be look, comfort and practicality for what you ewant to do on it.
As for an R6 being too aggressive for a first bike all i will say is when i rode my first bike it was a super

i love the R6 it's a really nice bike to drive and it handles easy on the road i love the snort off them where a pretty ronchee bike . my girlfriend doesent like it she all ways tells me when i leave her place with the bike dont do any thing stupid when i first bought my R6 my mom got angrey at me she said to me why did you buy a death trap you'll kill your self on it she dident like me when i first bought my gt cobra 5 liter so any ways i love the R6 because you can get wicked 3rd gear wheelies out of them i love doing 3rd gear wheelies on the R6 on main street.

Matt: I had the same problem with my 03 R6. Took it to the dealer and they said it was a common noise. I ride with 2 other 03 R6's and they didn't sound like that. I have 3,000 miles on her now, and I can't hear it anymore, but I also put a pipe on, so maybe it dampended the sound. If it's still under warranty, have the dealer check it out. hi guys any advice would be greatly appreciated just fitted new braided hoses back brakes bled fine but front are having a nightmare just cant seem to get rid of the air any advice please

Due to oil on the road i fell off my bike at 60mph hit a roundabout, then a kerb and then broke a wooden fence in half but I'll be ok but i need quite a few parts for my bike does anyone have any mainly the left hand side.
