The Simpsons Story.
The idea behind The Simpsons is that they are an average American family. Once you have seen a lot of the episodes you realise that they are not very average at all. What with the being a world famous singer, managing world famous singers, saving the town from nuclear meltdowns, going to the moon etc. With the family supposedly being average, each character is at the extremes of their stereotypical personality. For example Homer the dumb ass booze hound father and Marge the incredible nagging woman as the mother. Bart was meant to be based on The Simpsons' creator, Matt Groening. The Simpsons is definitely the funniest programme out at the moment.
