Phone Boxes

Now here's somthing that you don't see every day !

A K6 of course!

My K6 in the back garden, as you can see it needs a little work! This is a Kiosk N0 6 From 1936 with Kings crown, known as the Jubilee Kiosk.
Probably the commonest telephone box up until a few years ago. Almost all replaced with modern kiosk's now. Originally it would have had a Tele 238 that looks like a 162, but I only have the pay on answer 2 pence 10 pence model from the 1970's.

As it is in the picture it may look a little rough, but you should of seen it when I got it. So far it's had new glass all round, door return. New (old) Telephone glass signs at the top. I hope to do a lot more this year and may even finish it, but at the moment the kids just play in it.
