A
Bit About Ian
Welcome
to my home Page, here you will find out a little about me, the work I do and
the things I am interested in.
I got interested in computers through Ham Radio (callsign G1XYN). I needed a P-C to run a program for Packet Radio, and then my wife became a computer widow. Since then (1987) I have had the odd one or two.
In 1989 I started work for British Telecom and started my interest in all things old and Bakelite. In my collection I have lots of diagrams for all sorts of G.P.O Equipment as well as old Telephones.
I still
work for B.T , but now I work in Chester as Systems Administrator for a department
within B.T.
I have experience in DOS, Windows 3.x and 95-98-Me, Windows NT4 ,Windows2000-XP
and Unix.
