IES Hockey Club is committed to providing a structured programme of qualified coaching and matches for young people. To ensure equal opportunities regardless of age, gender, ability or background. To develop individual skills and to offer children the opportunity to progress at whatever level is appropriate. We encourage young people to contribute to the running of their club and to offer a safe and fun environment at all times.In support of this, the club is registered for and working towards Sport England's accreditation scheme Clubs 1st. Youth Coaching, Practice and Matches:
We plan to hold weekly coaching and practice on Sunday mornings at Copleston Centre from
11.00am to 12.00 noon starting on the 4th September 2005 and continuing until May 2006 with a
three week break at Christmas/ New Year.There should be two youth age-group squads competing in the Harpers Suffolk Junior Leagues during 2005/06 and various other opportunities for competitive play in age-group tournaments.
