Danielle Andrea Harris was born on June 1st, 1977 in Queens, New York. Her mother's name is Fran, and she has a younger sister called Ashley. Although still very young, Danielle is practically a veteran in film and television, having starred in over twenty movies and made almost the same amount of television guest appearances (not to mention her most recent as "Plum" in the new show "That's Life").

Halloween 5: Revenge of Michael Myers

Danielle started out acting in 1985, when she landed a part as series regular "Sammi Garretson" on the television show One Life to Live. She then moved on to star in such controversial horror movies as Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) as "Jamie Lloyd", the niece of serial killer Michael Myers and daughter of Laurie Strode, a role that led her to be procclaimed as a "scream queen" of the 80's at aged just 11-years-old.

Ms. Harris then moved on to give outstanding performances in movies such as the deliciously-funny black comedy Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (alongside Christina Appleby) and The Last Boy Scout (starring opposite Bruce Willis), for which she was nominated for two "Young Artist Awards".

Eerie, Indiana

After these impressive roles, Danielle went on to guest star in many well-known television shows, including "Eerie, Indiana" (when she actually dated main star Omri Katz), "Roseanne" and "Boy Meets World" - in between which she had a small role in the 1993 family hit Free Willy as "Gwenie" and the thriller Daylight as "Ashley Crighton", which also starred action-movie-mistro Silvester Stallone. As well as these, Danielle also starred alongside "Roswell"'s Katherine Heigl in the family comedy Wish Upon a Star (1996) as a geeky girl who is given the chance to swap bodies with her Prom Queen sister (Heigl) and live her life.

Since then, career highlights for Ms. Harris include guest roles as "Aviva" in highly-rated show "Charmed", "Willow Mortner" in two back-to-back episodes of "Brooklyn South", and a return to the Horror genre in the 1998 Horror smash Urban Legend alongside Alicia Witt and Jared Leto. Danielle recently finished work on the indie Em and Me, and her newest movie, Poor White Trash (originally entitled "Goodbye Sunrise") will be available to buy on DVD and video on June 14th, 2001.
