Sorry guys, no IK3 news - it seems that nobody is talking at all about the film, we can only hope that Neal Moritz and crew are still working hard at it! Today I added a couple of new bloopers for I Know... and I Still Know... courtesy of an IKnowSeries visitor! Thanks!

Finally, after months of nothing at all, it has been reported that Muse Watson is still considering reprising his famous role of Ben Willis. Scary Films posted the following a few days ago:

'Muse Watson is thinking of reprising his role as the killer fisherman from the I Know What You Did Last Summer series in his own spin-off. "I have some folks who are telling me that we should produce our own answer to IK3," says Watson. "We are thinking of giving my fans some more horror tales. No sequel. Just another chance to see me (as Ben Willis) chasing some little victims around an interesting set."'

Any IK3 news is good news for me!

A small update today. I added more to my own IK3 fan-script to the I Know 3... section, as well as the beginning of a brand-new fan-script entitled IK4: Return to Southport, so check them out if you get the chance!

I apologise for the lack of updates to IKnowSeries of late, but I've been extremely busy working on Chiller, another project of mine. Anyhow, here is some news regarding I Know 3! Jennifer Love Hewitt spoke of the possibility of her returning to the "slasher movie" scene as almost nonexistent when she was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly today. When asked if she was done with slasher movies, Love replied...

"Yeah. And I hope my fans agree. I'm kind of at a weird age in the entertainment industry. It's like when you're 13, that's another weird age because they'll hire the 18 year olds to play your parts since they can work longer hours. You're stuck in the middle. I want to do My Best Friend's Wedding kind of movies, and you can't if people still consider you the "teen scream queen" type. That's why my roles as Audrey Hepburn [in the TV biopic] and in Heartbreakers and The Devil and Daniel Webster are characters that allowed me to be a little older."

No doubt this news will break many I Know... fans hopes that she would return for a third encounter with Ben Willis, but I guess we'll all just have to attempt to move on with ours lives somehow... ;)

I apologise for the lack of recent updates. Life has become hectic again, and school work is rather demanding at the moment. I have added a brand-new IK3 fan-script to the I Know 3 area, so please take a look if you're interested. The final tracks in the I Know Score will be added soon.

Sorry for not updating yesterday, but I was extremely busy with school work (grr!). I managed to make a large update on the I Know... score today, with tracks 15, 16 and 17 uploaded onto the site. Now only four more left and the entire score will be online! I also updated my I Know 3 script, so please check it out. As well as that, the Freddie Prinze Jr. section at Cast Areas has been opened.

Again, more tracks added from the I Know... score today. I added tracks 13 and 14, I hope you enjoy them! I have also got my hands on a MIDI version of the song "Hush", so that should be appearing somewhere at IKnowSeries very soon.

I added two more tracks from the I Know... score CD, so be sure to check them out. I can't stress enough how you should download track 11, "In Pursuit of Helen" which is absolutely excellent. It's from the chase scene between the Fisherman and Helen - a classic! Also I added an updated version of my IK3 script, so be sure to take a look at that, too. Please send any comments here.

The first ten tracks from the promotional I Know... score are now available in the Multimedia section. I will try to get more up soon - I recently acquired a new FTP client that is super-fast, double the speed of my last one - so you should expect the entire score to be up by next weekend!

JANUARY 11TH, 2001
Once again, this is an update on IKnowSeries and not the actual series. I am sorry about the lack of IK3 information available at the moment, but things have gone almost dead quiet about it ever since Columbia stated that the movie would happen. Hopefully some news will come up soon.

Anyway, I have something that hopefully will cheer you all up. I have managed to create MP3's from my very own copy of John Debney's promotional score CD for I Know...! At the moment only the first 6 tracks are available, but more should be up by this weekend. They are complete tracks (not clips), so if you're a fan of the movie (which you most probably are if you are here!) I recommend you download them. The score is truly amazing, Debney did an excellent job. That's it for now, don't forget to send any IK3 news my way if you have any.

This is more of an update of new stuff added to the site, rather than "Series" news. Today I added two new fan-scripts to the I Know 3 section. One of them is an opening penned by myself and a writing-partner of mine - which we are very proud of, so please take a look and send us any comments in the forum, guestbook, or by mailing me. The second script is the one that was passed off as the "official thing" months ago, but turned out to be fake. I decided to include it in the fan-script section as it's still a damn-good read, even if it is fake!

I am currently creating some mp3's from my copy of John Debney's promotional I Know... score, so they should appear in the Multimedia area very shortly! I am also working on the Freddie Prinze Jnr. section in the Cast Areas. All-in-all, lots happening here at IKS!

Well, the new site has been opened, and it's looking better than ever before! Take a look around, quite a few new things have been added - including the re-designed Cast Area, which will grow over time as new names who appeared in the I Know movies are added! Please post any comments in the Guestbook, and please go visit the forum to talk with other IKWYDLS fans.

NOVEMBER 18TH, 2000
I apologise for not updating more frequently these past few weeks, but I have been working the hardest I have ever worked on a great new Horror website called Chiller, which can be found at http://www.chiller-website.com. The site is nowhere near complete yet, but I am hoping to get it opened by Christmas. Anyway, I have added 6 great new sounds from IKWYDLS in the Multimedia area, so please check them out. As well as that, there are a couple of new wallpapers in the Desktop Wallpapers section. I am getting some desktop themes made as we speak, so please check back at the site in a few days time for when they will be up.

OCTOBER 13TH, 2000
Lots of series and site news today, so please bear with me! To make it easier for you to read, I have split the site and series news into two sections below...

IK3 NEWS:
For the past few weeks I have been hearing no end of rumors stating that "Jennifer Love Hewitt and Muse Watson are in talks about returning to the series" to "Brandy is desperately trying to contact Love about IK3" etc, and it was getting pretty tedious and tiresome. So your trusty IKnowSeries.com webmaster has once again taken things into his own hands and got down to the bottom of it all for you. I contacted Muse Watson (known mainly as "Ben Willis" to his fans) with a number of questions regarding what is happening around IK3. Here's what he had to say:

IKnowSeries.com: Are you still in talks with executives etc (if you ever were!) to try to bring back the surviving characters for the third movie?
Muse: Never was.

IKnowSeries.com: Have you been in contact with Love Hewitt at all (to pursuade her in any way to return for IK3)?
Muse: No.

IKnowSeries.com: Any word on the cast & story at the present time for the third movie?
Muse: In my mind there is no third movie. If the script is different and the characters are different...then it is the first movie of it's series...not the third one of ours. If Ben ain't there ..... then they don't "Know". Tell your readers that I spoke with "Ben" and he is not happy. They can make up their own rumors about what he might do.

So now it is well and truly final : MUSE WATSON AND LOVE HEWITT (AND SUBSEQUENTLY THEIR CHARACTERS) ARE TO HAVE NO PART IN IK3. Please do not send in any more rumors stating that they really are, because "Ben" has spoken, and he ain't happy!

SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2000.
Jennifer Love Hewitt has confirmed, in a recent interview with 'Moviehole', that she will not be taking part in I Know What You Did Last Summer 3. When asked if she was surprised that the next Summer film would have an all new cast... Hewitt answered, "Well, not really. I found out about it not too long ago... and I think it will be exciting to see what happens in the 3rd I Know... I can't wait to see it."

AUGUST 29TH, 2000
Isn't it just typical that as soon as your feet leave your country for some sunny destination all hell breaks out over the Internet?! I apologise that it has taken me so long to post up the newly-released IKWYDLS3 news, but I only returned from Spain on August 28th, and was flooded with no less than 60 e-mails to reply to, at least 10 of which concerned IK3! Okay, well this is going to be tough, but here's what I know...

Apparently, and this is official, Columbia Pictures (who backed the first two movies) have confirmed that an I Know What You Did Last Summer 3 is in the works! There is no word on the cast or storyline of the new movie, although some reports state that none of the original cast will return. I am opposed to this fully, as I feel that without Ben Willis there is no franchise. I received the following e-mail from Muse Watson (Ben W. in the movies):

"I don't know if you heard but... Simon Barry has written a script and pitched it to the producers... they bought it. No word on the story or the cast. We are asking the fans to write and let them know that it ain't a sequel with-out Ben Willis.

If you, too are opposed to the idea of a sequel without Julie James, Ray Bronson and good ol' Ben Willis, then please visit this spot: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html, and let Sony know how you feel (much like fans did for H2K). Check back for more news to come...
