I Know What You Did Last Summer:
When Helen says, "Angela Lansbury always had a plan..." she is referring to the popular 80's TV show "Murder, She Wrote".
When she and Julie are visiting Missy Egan, as they walk towards the house Helen says, "Jodie Foster did this and a serial killer opened the door." This is a reference to the hit 1991 film "Silence of the Lambs".
When Helen calls the policeman a "... shit stick, Mayberry-ass reject," in the back of the police car, she references the 60's television show "The Andy Griffith Show".
When Helen is running from the fisherman towards the family store, and then bangs on the door, the scene is very reminiscent of Jamie Lee Curtis' hospital parking-lot scene in 1981's "Halloween 2".
Helen's fall from the second story is nearly identical to that of Neve Campbell's in 1996's "Scream", also written by "IKWYDLS" scribe Kevin Williamson.
Other films referenced in the movie are 1951's "Strangers on a Train" and 1988's "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
