I Still Know What You Did Last Summer cut scenes taken from an original published edition of the script by Trey Callaway from 1998.

ORIGINAL OPENING
Whereas in the original IKWYDLS it was the end that was changed, in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer it was the opening sequence that was altered. No "script snippet" is available, but you can read an interview given by Love Hewitt regarding the original opening...

CUT SCENE #1
This scene is a different version to what was finally filmed. When Julie sees the guy wearing the slicker at the bar, she follows him, but finds it is only some druggie. As with many of the "cut scenes", it is simply a different version to what was screened.

CUT SCENE #2
After Julie has done the karaoke in the Tower Bay bar and is freaked by the message that comes up on the screen, this is the scene where she finds the note reading "Surprise!" but contains some different elements.

CUT SCENE #3
A far creepier death scene which was originally envisioned for Derrick (the "dock-hand guy"). It's quite different from the final cut, and I prefer it.

CUT SCENE #4
Another different and far scarier death scene to what appeared in the final cut of the film. This is where Olga is hooked by Ben Willis, but instead of being hooked in the corridor, Ben drags her into room 228 before slicing her up.

CUT SCENE #5
This scene may have been editted for time, or maybe just editted out completely if the director felt it was "inadequate". It contains some interesting interaction between Will and Tyrell, as well as a far nastier death to the one that Titus finally suffered.

CUT SCENE #6
Ever wondered just what the signifigance of the old lady - who gave Ray the dirty look aboard the "Malibu" bus - was? Well in the original screenplay the lady actually spoke to Ray.

CUT SCENE #7
A far more suspenseful and nerve-jangling version of the scene where Julie, Karla and Tyrell enter the kitchens for weapons and food. This should have been in the final cut!

CUT SCENE #8
Another scene that was intended to be filmed in a subtle and eerie manor, but was instead approached to be very over-the-top by the director. A better version of the scene where Ben confronts the three women in the attic, as well as a nice interaction between Ben and Julie that was cut.

CUT SCENE #9
The final showdown between Ben, Julie, Ray and Will... and it was basically the same but with some changes that the movie would have benefitted greatly from (Ben's "I'll always be with you" should never have ben editted out).

CUT SCENE #10
A neat little scene that occurs after the climax but before the essential "epilogue" scene which was probably cut for length.
