This is an alternate opening that appeared in the first draft of the script. Rather than the plane scene, whcih was added in later, this is another movie-within-a-movie scene, but the movie stars Amy Mayfield's father when he was younger (in this script, Amy's father was a famous actor before he died, rather than documentarian). This scene takes place directly after the ending of the inital opening scene (the opening scene of the first draft script, not the final movie) and is a sort of introduction to Amy's movie and the whole of the university (at that point called "Beachwood University Film School"). Read the Scene >>
