Entry Level

Absolute beginner.   Students must possess their own sticks and the course tutor will be able to give advice on the type of sticks to buy.

Aims of the Class

This class aims to give students an introduction to basic drumming and reading skills.

Each student will learn to play elementary rudiments whilst learning how to read notation.

When students are able to play both of the set pieces for the Guildhall Grade 2 examination on snare drum they will be able to join the Junior Band.
