Aims of the Class

This group aims to promote the enjoyment and benefits of the small ensemble

using three and four part arrangements of popular orchestral works and

original compositions. The ensemble currently comprises flutes, clarinets and

bass clarinet but would welcome players of oboe, bassoon and horn which

would allow the group to tackle larger scale wind compositions.

The benefits of playing in a small ensemble can never be overstated and

improvement in technique, intonation and musicality is almost guaranteed!
