Hi, this is me November 4th 2001.
I left Imberhorne March 1975 to work in the Inland Revenue for a year. I have had various jobs since then and a lengthy spell of unemployment in the early 1980's when I was also very active in the Labour and Trade Union movement. In 1983 I gained work as a kitchen porter with Redhill Hospital - and whilst working there I met my wife Julie. In 1987 I retrained as a computer programmer and joined our local council (Reigate & Banstead) in early 1988. In 1989 Julie & I moved to Preston, Lancashire - where I worked for the Council as a programmer. We married in 1990 and our daughter Hazel was born in 1994. In December 1998 we relocated back to the South East and I rejoined Reigate & Banstead Borough Council as a Business Analyst. Which is where I am now!
