A brief history .....

In June 2000, our dear friend Jo, felt called to host a housegroup which would meet the spiritual and social needs of the 20 - 45 year olds at Christ Church Methodist.  The group met fortnightly on Wednesday evenings in Jo and Andy's home for Prayer and Bible Study.  Many new friendships were made, and in addition to the study sessions, a lively social programme developed.

The Inbetweenies said a fond farewell to Jo and her family as they moved away from the area in March 2003.  Now, the group meets for a study session on the first Wednesday evening of each month either at Adrian and Val's home or Stuart and Mel's home.  Each meeting is organised by a different member of the group.  The organiser chooses a Bible study on 'Meeting God' (taken from the Life Builder study booklet) or creates their own discussion evening, as directed by the Holy Spirit.  We also continue to have a lively social programme which includes theatre, concerts, cinema, ten-pin bowling, BBQs, quiz nights and walks.  Many of these activities are arranged at short notice, so do not actually make it to the website diary.  Please contact us, if you would like to be included in the mailing list.
