From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Suzanne de Passe, comes the hit sitcom, "Sister, Sister". Older episodes of the show are currently showing on Sundays, Ch.4, in the UK.

The series stars real-life identical twins Tamera and Tia Mowry, Jackee Harry, Marques Houston and Tim Reid.

In the programme, identical twins Tamera and Tia (Tamera and Tia Mowry) were separated at birth and adopted by different families nearly 15 years ago. Tia lived in Detroit with her outspoken mother, Lisa Landry (Harry), while Tamera lived in the suburbs with her father Ray Campbell (Reid). A fateful shopping trip brings the twins together. Tia and Tamera hit it off immediately, though their mother and father have nothing in common, except the girls. For the sake of the twins, the parents agree to give living together in Rays house a try.

The twins share a room and discover from the very start how different they are even though their looks are identical. Tia is an honor student who's more comfortable with books than boys. Her side of the room is always neat and organized. This season Tia will break away from her somewhat fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants sister and get accepted into a private school. Tia will have to make some important life decisions about moving away from home and away from her best friend and sister, Tamera.

Meanwhile, Tamera is sloppy and less studious. She constantly flirts with boys. Further, Tamera will break out as a star athlete at school.

On the young field of romance, the twins are constantly being bothered by their over amorous teenage neighbour, Roger (Houston). Roger often drops by to see the object of his unabashed affection, Tamera. Once Tia moved in, Roger doubled his smitten efforts. But this season, he finally makes up his mind and chooses one twin over the other.

This season, the series will continue to focus on teen issues and angsts, including the twins being fired from Rocket Burger, Tamera breaking out as a successful athlete at school and Tia having to make a decision about being accepted into a private school. The series will also concentrate on individual character development, allowing the audience to distinguish Tamera and Tia's different personality traits.

Lest one forget the parents, the series will continue to weave adult issues into each story such as single parenting, adult dating, and the subtle attraction between Ray and Lisa. Lisa will break up with her long-time boyfriend, Terrance and Ray will become upset because he and Terrance have bonded and become friends.

Tamera Mowry and her twin sister, Tia, were discovered when their younger brother's agent mentioned them during a meeting with de Passe Entertainment.

Tamera began acting at age 12 and has danced in several music videos. She also appears in an episode of "Flesh 'N Blood."

Currently, she and Tia share the distinction of having the 15th highest TVQ rating score among female, prime-time television performers. Among kids and teens, their Q score is even higher than the Olsen twins from "Full House."

Tamera was born on July 6 in West Germany and lived in Honolulu, Hawaii before moving to Los Angeles five years ago. Currently, she lives in Van Nuys, California with her parents, twin sister Tia, and brothers Tahj and Tavior.

 Tia Mowry discovered that she was interested in acting when visitng her younger brother Tahj on the set of "Full House." After that, she and her twin sister, Tamera began auditioning for roles against each other. Tia and Tamera's hard work has paid off as they were recently selected by children around the country as television's most popular actresses in Nickelodeon's 8th Annual "Kid's Choice Awards."

A self-described "Army brat," whose father is a First Sergeant in the United States Army, Tia was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii before the family moved to Los Angeles five years ago. Tia Mowry was born two minutes after her sister on July 6 in West Germany.
