The sketch on the left from page 125 of the book shows Still Life on a Sideboard (1920) by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), Musée Picasso, Paris. The piece of furniture on the right is made by Patrick Daw. The book gives construction drawings, materials lists and an order of work. The book jacket, in the centre, shows the famous van Gogh chair from his painting of 1888-1889. It is worth scouring the bookshelves of your library, booksellers or even car boot sales to get a copy of it!
