The pro-communist demonstrators are passively contained
by the police at St. Paul's Cathedral while others on this side
of the road are trapped behind crush barriers like in a fish
trap, not even allowed to cross the road to attend church. At
Tower Bridge a flag-waving communist Chinese clique refused to
discuss Tibet declaring that I was 'unqualified'. He was not
interested in discussing the photograph of the Da Lai Lama and
the Panchen Lama walking with Mao Tse-Tung in Beijing before
the Red Army entered Tibet. Of course he was not interested in
discussing anything. At least he furled his flag. Maybe I will
have a holiday in Tibet and the Da Lai Lama will be invited to
open the London Olympics. I look forward to 2012. |
