Potatoes tested on all beds and the 12 small beds
consolidated into 6 large beds for crop rotation. First a quick
green manure crop of white mustard seed to improve the soil condition.

for overwintering.
Cabbages planted out.
29 September 2002, sow 136 onion
sets having turned in the mustard seed manure.
5 October, recheck potatoes
and return to store.
6 October 2002, sow 75 Taylor's
Silvermoon white overwintering onion sets and remaining natural
onion sets.
Sow three square metres of Thompson
& Morgan's Green Manure; forage rye, forage peas, tares and
Italian ryegrass.
Also sow three rows of turnips and seven
rows of Pak Choi in the next season potato bed.
