CANOE SAFARI DORDOGNE

Trips starting any day of the week, between Saturday 11th June and Saturday 3rd September 2005.

The Dordogne is one of the most beautiful rivers in France and on this trip you will experience it as nobody by road can. The trip is from Argentat to Beynac, which will take you through forests, gorges and open countryside passing many beautiful and impressive chateau's and villages along the way.

Each day you paddle with only what you need, as all of your camping equipment and luggage is transported forward to the next campsite by road. Your tents however are not erected for you.

Each night is spent on a commercial campsite with full toilet and shower facilities.

A village is also nearby where, if you so wish, you can eat out and enjoy the fine cuisine of the region.

Distances to be paddled each day are intentionally kept small, varying between 14 - 23 Km. These are not races, so each days paddling enables you, to have time, to leave the river and visit some of the various places of interest along the way. Take your time and really enjoy where you are.
