Itinerary 2006

You must arrive at Gunnerud for Building Instruction on a Sunday, Monday or Wednesday.

Holidays are available from Sunday 5th June 2006 until Wednesday 30th August 2006.

People arriving a day early are welcome at no extra charge, to spend the night at the rafting centre prior to receiving their instruction the following evening. Alternatively we have an arrangement with Choice Hotels where we can book you into a Hotel in the Oslo area if you wish to break the journey.

	Depart Newcastle by DFDS Seaways ferry to Kristiansand, Norway (Mondays & Thursdays only at 1500 Hrs)	18 hours
	Arrive Kristiansand (Tuesdays & Fridays only at 0900 Hrs) and then drive via Oslo to Gunnerud.	7-8 hours
Day 1	Arrive Gunnerud - Collect camping equipment and receive building instruction (Sunday, Monday and Wednesday Only)
Day 2	Transfer to building site - Build raft and cast - off
Day 3 Day 7	) Rafting
Day 8	Arrive back at Gunnerud Dismantle raft - Return equipment - Depart Gunnerud
	Depart Kristiansand by DFDS Seaways ferry to Newcastle (Wednesdays & Sundays only at 1800 Hrs)
	Arrive Newcastle ( Thursdays & Mondays only at 1000 Hrs)	18 hours

Please Note that if Day 1 is a Sunday then Day 8 is also a Sunday

Short of Time? Then it is possible to complete the rafting trip in 6 days if necessary.
