How will I know if an event is suitable for me ?

You need to be honest with yourself and recognise your own abilities as well as understand the demands of the event after discussing with the organiser. We also have to consider the safety of our other members as well as making sure you have an enjoyable experience, so please find out as much as you can before you make a decision.

What are the annual membership costs and how long do I have before deciding to join ?

Membership of Ipswich Outdoor Group is an inexpensive way to gain access to a varied and organised programme of events as well as being able to enjoy the company of like minded people.

Our membership year runs from 1st July and and costs either £5.00 (Students or Unwaged) or £10.00 (All other applicants) for the 12 month period.

Most people usually come along to a few events before deciding whether or not Ipswich Outdoor Group is for them. In this time it is hoped you will meet a large number of the membership as well as seeing if the type and level of events are what you expected.
