Just a quick note to say I believe that Crown Point Chinese meals are probably the best in the Ipswich area. I've spent some time in China myself and Crown Point meals are probably the most authentic Chinese food I've tasted in Britain. Keep up the good work Ray, Martlesham loves what you've done with our traditional fish and chip shop!

I've just read George's comments on Crown Point Fish and Chip Shop and generally I tend to agree with him. However, having lived in Liverpool where there is a large ethnic Chinese community I have to admit that some of their meals do taste better. But even so, Crown Point have got the market by the balls in the south east without a doubt. Ever thought of doing Crispy Duck?

Hi Adrian, Great page...keep it up!Its really good to hear that there is so much good food to eat in Martlesham if you can't be bothered to cook.I live quite close by to the Crown Point Take Away, and for years my parents and myself have always bought our Chinese food there, I simply can't fault it, especially as there has been Duck on the menu in the last year or so!!! Mmmm my favourite.Anyway, keep it up Adrian.Chris

I personaly think that the Black Tiles has the best food in Martlesham. Especially the 'locals special' of burger, chips, beans and salad for £2.95. All you have to do is prove that you live in Martlesham - why not give them a try?

Adrian I have sent you two new entries for the posh restaurants list for The Galley and it's sister restaurant. Can you email me when they have been included in your list please? Many thanks, Stephanie

Hi Adrian, I love the sight but have an update for you. Kinlochs Restaurant in Sudbury are no longer at the Quay theatre. The new owners are doing a fine job of show suppers and lunches, at a bargain price as well!
