HOW TO FIND THE IPSWICH RHINOS

DIRECTIONS BY ROAD

FROM THE NORTH WEST OF ENGLAND
M6, A14

FROM THE NORTH & MIDLANDS
A1, A14 to Ipswich

FROM LONDON & THE SOUTH
M25 Exit Junction 28 for A12 towards Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich

FROM THE A14
Take the first Ipswich exit (at Asda superstore) and proceed into Ipswich along the Norwich Road.
Follow Norwich Road for approximately one mile (passing the Suffolk Punch pub after half a mile) until you come to mini roundabout junction (the Inkerman pub is visible on the right).
Turn left into Valley Road and take up directions below.(see*** below)

FROM THE A12
On approach to Ipswich you will come down hill at end of A12 to large roundabout (Toys R Us & Tesco visible).
Take the second exit heading for Ipswich Town Centre (A1214) passing Post House Hotel on left.
Carry on into Ipswich and down hill to traffic lights, passing Sainsbury's.
Turn left after bridge, into Yarmouth Road.
Continue over traffic lights on to mini roundabout system. Go straight over into Valley Road.

Continue up Valley Road over traffic lights and straight over two roundabouts.
Carry on over bridge (cemetery) and past fire station then turn left at Roundabout, follow road to end then turn right, following road all the way to end then straight over into Ipswich Rugby Club.(Humber Doucy Lane.


BY RAIL
The direct station for Ipswich is London Liverpool Street - trains leave for Ipswich hourly. Journey time is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. The easiest way to the clubhouse if there are more than three of you is to negotiate a fixed price taxi ride from outside Ipswich station.

BY AIR
Norwich Airport and then....catch the Norwich - London train which stops at Ipswich...journey time 45 minutes (Anglia Railways or Great Eastern ) or Norwich to Ipswich by road use the A140 which brings you into Ipswich on the Norwich Road (see directions). Road time 1 hour 25 minutes.
OR London Stansted Airport in Essex  A120 to A12 Ipswich.

BY FERRY
Currently the only ferry link to East Anglia is via Stena Line to the port of Harwich in Essex from the Hook of Holland. Ipswich is reachable from Harwich by train or road (A120 to A12, journey time 1 hour 15 minutes).
