The web site has undergone a major overhaul over the last couple of weeks. For previous visitors, the first and most obvious update is to the site layout - a new livery of blue and cream, and a side bar menu of relevant links on each page.

New additions to the site are:

Accessibility features for adjusting text size and colours.
A search facility, located at the top left of every page.
An expanded help section.
A news feed for publishing site updates and other news.
Information about news feeds.
Annotated site map indicating new and updated content.

I have now added details for some of my Scottish matrilineal ancestors to the Individuals section.

A new section, entitled Individuals. This lists facts and figures for family ancestors (all pages within this section are created with Family Historian).

Re-organisation of the navigation buttons at the top of each page:

The Gardner and Izzard family pages are now available under the Families section.
New sections entitled Individuals and Galleries.

Addition of a breadcrumb trail, just below the navigation buttons. (Within the context of a web site, a breadcrumb trail briefly states which page is being viewed and where that page lies in the site's hierarchy.)

As the site has only gone live today technically everything is new! There is a brief introduction to the Izzard family branch together with several family trees (accessible from the introduction). You will also find a photograph album for the Gardner family.
