Help

The Help section has been designed to make your experience of my site as enjoyable and useful as possible by offering easy-to-follow advice on how to use the available facilities.

If, however, the help pages are unable to answer your question then please do get in touch.

Accessibility

In designing www.izzardhistory.co.uk, I have followed the guidelines and standards of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) to make this site as accessible as possible. (See the section About this Site for which standards have been followed.)

I am committed to the principles of accessibilty and have implemented several accessibility features on this site. A link to these features appears at the top right of every web page.

If you encounter a problem when viewing this site please let me know and I will endeavour to correct the issue.

Getting Started

How to Use this Site explains how to use site-specific features such as moving between the generations on family trees.

When it comes to exploring the contents of the site, there are three main indexes to help you:

Search

If you can't find what you're looking for from any of the indexes, there is a search box, powered by Google, at the top of each web page. Enter your chosen keyword(s) in the box and click the Search button to see the list of matching results.

You must have JavaScript enabled in your browser to use the search facility. See the box-out in the sidemenu for your browser settings.

Printing

Although banners, footers and menus are great for navigating a web site, they clutter printed output making it difficult to read and usually consume large amounts of ink.

With this in mind, I have made the site print-friendly for those who prefer a paper copy. Just select Print from your browser and you'll get a clutter-free printout.

News Feed

There is a news feed for this site, which allows you to keep up-to-date with changes to the site without having to continually visit. See About News Feeds for an explanation of news feeds and how to access the Izzard Family History news feed.
