Family Locations: George Edward Izzard
(c1816-1893)

Where the Family Lived

From the various documents and records it can be seen that George and his family moved home on at least seven occasions, and, of course, it is possible they may have moved even more frequently.

Despite the frequency of moves, however, the family did not travel far afield, spending the majority of their lives within the city boundary of London. The exception to this was a brief sojourn to Bath, when their second child James was born.

The map below highlights where George and Harriet lived throughout their lives.
