Other than photography, my main interest and one which has brought me great satisfaction, is that of Family History Research.  Working at the Tourist Information Centre made me realise how many people actively research their ancestors.  Since 1999 I have built a substantial computer database for genealogy research.      The same information can be obtained by visiting the Tourist Information Centre.  Neither I or the information Centre charge for this service, although donations for local chapels are always most welcome.  Please note that I can only help those with Blaenavon ancestors.
