The terms under which I accept forward bookings, and the
treatment of deposits are as follows:-
In the event you are unable to use
the accommodation you have booked, if you cancel six weeks before the start
date, a full refund will be made.
Otherwise, I revert to the Tourist
Board industry-standard which states that if the room(s) cannot be let to
another party, two thirds of the price of the room(s) is chargeable, and may be
taken from any deposit paid (your liability is limited to the amount of the
deposit paid). If the
room(s) are let in full to another party, the deposit should be repaid in full.
I will make every effort to re-let any cancelled bookings, and therefore will not repay any deposit or part thereof until after the date of the booking at which time I will know whether or not the room(s) have been relet.
